SAMSUNG
I led an eight-member team to create seamless, interconnected experiences for the Samsung Galaxy Eco-System of devices, including phones, PCs, Tablets, Buds, and Watches — both online and in-store.
DETAILS
CHALLENGE
The primary goal was to enable users to explore product features and simulate experiences without buying or physically handling the device.
The secondary aim was to showcase in-store how Samsung devices effortlessly connect and share experiences across multiple devices, similar to the seamless integration found among Apple devices (watch, phone, tablet, computer, TV, headphones) for a smooth user experience.
STRATEGY
Create online and in-store simulations of connected experiences for mobile devices, enabling users to understand their interconnectivity and explore new product features more effectively.
SOLUTION
Develop, test, and launch the Samsung Eco-System Experience for online and in-store customers.
This included developing:
Wireframes
Clickable prototypes
Content Design
Visual Design
Video shoots
Animated Product Demos
In-store device testing
Focus groups and Optimizations based on feedback
Developing a demonstration experience across multiple devices
Using the tablet as the main screen, users can choose their desired demonstration experience.
The following demo scenarios illustrate the connectivity between:
Phone and PCs
Phone to PC to Buds (wireless headphones)
Phones to Tablets
And much, much more…
Below are images of in-store displays running live demos, welcome screens, and scenario screens we used to take the client through our UX thinking.
Product Demo Videos
We created a series of short videos featuring storyboards, designs, scripts, edits, and custom computer-generated graphics, which were showcased online and within in-store product experiences.
GALAXY UNIVERSE “ATTRACTOR LOOP”
The video loop, featuring vivid and dynamic animations, was designed to engage shoppers and encourage them to try in-store demonstrations, synchronizing across all device screens.

Here are a few screenshots of our storyboards. Devising a sequence that worked seamlessly across separate screens was a fun challenge.
In-store display ads.
We also created nine product connectivity ads, illustrating the interaction between devices, which were displayed in Best Buy and Target retail stores.
