TEAMFORGE™ by COLLABNET

Product & Description:

TeamForge™ by Collabnet is an open-platform  development, delivery and collaboration software that gives developers the freedom to work the way they want to.

Campaign:

“Let them play”

Role:

Creative Director, HTML5 animation.

Description

When interviewing a selection of 10 software developers about their company’s development process, the answers ranged widely from Agile to Waterfall, to Subversion to PostgreSQl — and everything in between. Over the years, they’ve become accustomed to a certain way of producing and publishing work, but with each new job comes a shift in the process. Wouldn’t it be amazing if you could tell your development team that they could collaborate on projects their own way and not have to worry about learning and adopting yet another new philosophy or software?

The task was to create an integrated Demand Generation campaign that celebrated the uniqueness of software developers while promoting the idea that collaboration doesn't mean you lose your individuality — and what you’ve found to be successful. We created illustrations of unique characters that although they were all very different from one another, could come together as individuals when needed most.

Doodles, Sticky notes, and Illustrations.

Let them Play.

The heart of this concept lies in the notion that you set people up for success by not forcing them to conform, but by allowing them the freedom to use the tools and methods that made them successful.

If you love what you do, then it doesn't feel like work.

If you let them play, you'll be surprised by the results.

Draw it.

Stock photos of developers are not only uninteresting, but they’re also status-quo. We wanted to get playful with our art direction, so we developed a custom set of colorful and cheeky monsters in bright outdoor atmospheres that convey individuality, freedom, and playfulness.
